Which documents are allowed as proof of identity?

Please find below the list of accepted identity documents: 

1. National Passport & Passport card
2. National Identity Card
3. Driving License (Card only)
4. Resident Permit from an EEA country

Kindly note that your identity document needs to contain an expiry date and needs to be currently valid. Documents that are expired or missing an expiry date cannot be accepted despite the extension of the validity proposed by the State.
